Insurance & Fees
Session Rates
Payment is due at the time of service.
Insurance
I can provide a superbill (detailed receipt) that you can submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Many plans offer partial reimbursement for out-of-network mental health services.
I recommend contacting your insurance company to understand your mental health benefits before beginning treatment.
Questions to Ask Your Insurance
- Do I have mental health benefits?
- What is my deductible and has it been met?
- How many therapy sessions are covered per year?
- What is my co-pay or co-insurance for an out-of-network provider?
- Do I need a referral or pre-authorization?
Sliding Scale
I believe that therapy should be accessible to those who need it. A limited number of sliding scale slots are available for individuals experiencing financial hardship. Please inquire during your initial consultation if this applies to you.
Cancellation Policy
I require 24 hours notice for cancellations. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice or missed without notice will be charged the full session fee. This policy helps ensure that appointment times remain available for all clients.
Good Faith Estimate
Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your medical care will cost. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
