About Me
My Background
I have been practicing psychology for over 29 years, and I continue to find this work deeply meaningful. I believe that everyone deserves a safe space to explore their thoughts and feelings without judgment.
My focus is to understand your concerns, help you consider underlying causes, and work together on making better choices while increasing your sense of control over unwanted behaviors and thoughts. Nothing is too small or too big to benefit from psychotherapy.
Education & Training
- PhD in Psychology, Catholic University (1997)
- American Psychological Association Certificate
My Approach
I use a variety of interventions, from psychodynamic to humanistic to cognitive behavioral therapy, tailored to each client's unique needs. My goal is to help reduce self-defeating behaviors while developing new ways to perceive life events, interact in the world, and have healthier relationships.
My style is warm, compassionate, and straightforward. I create an open, supportive environment where clients feel comfortable and not judged.
